Coming Spring of 2019
Haven of Hope on Wheels is set to make its debut in the spring of 2019 with one truck and trailer. In addition, our Resource Center will open in the summer of 2019 to serve those who are in the Oroville area with additional services such as health care, job training and placement, housing and education.
HERE ARE WAYS YOU CAN HELP:
1. Host a Fundraiser!
Choose to spearhead a fundraiser campaign – we will have an application process to screen individuals & groups who are hosting these events. We will also allow them to use the Southside Oroville Community Center for these fundraisers.
2. Help us keep things Sparkling!
Participate in keeping the trailer & truck clean – After each time we provide services, we will need help with cleaning the truck and trailer. We want it to be spic and span at the beginning of every new session so we would love your help!
3. Volunteer at the actual Resource Center
We will be opening the Resource Center in the summer of 2019 and we will need volunteers to help us with administrative duties as well as helping assist our clients so they can get the help they need. Let us know what skills you have and we will figure out how to get you plugged in to help! Please note that this volunteer opportunity does not include licensed services such as nursing, counseling, or other types of work that involve client privacy, but we will have lots of volunteer opportunities as we move forward.
